WHAT'S ON IN JUNE?

We may be heading into the dead of Winter but your cycling calendar doesn’t need to die! There are so many exciting events happening in and around the Western Cape this month that is sure to keep you pedaling all year long!

 




Ronde Van Riebeek - 1 June

This epic race takes you out on the famous Riebeek Valley gravel roads and promises to be an excellent day out on the bike. There are 3 distances to choose from: 25, 50 and 100 miler. A highlight of this race is certainly finishing on the track, Roubaix Veledrome style, and you can always stick around afterwards for Belgian Beer and Frites!

Ostrich Crawl - 1 June

This must do event celebrates it's 7th birthday in 2024! The MTB route is a scenic set of trails that promises to suit both racing snakes and social riders! The route includes gravel roads, single track and lots of jeep track, so decide if you're up the 38km or the 59km and get ready to ride over part of the historic old Mossel Bay pass.

Knysna Cycle Tour - 29 June

This year the Knysna Cycle Tour is back with another exhilarating two days cycling!

On day 1 you can choose between an 85, 50 or 30 km loops along gravel roads and jeep tracks through the indigenous forest, enjoying invigorating climbs and thrilling descents. And then on day 2 your choice is a 100 or 50 km Road /Gravel Bike ride.

All MTB, Road Bikes, E-Bikes, and gravel bikes are welcome. Entries range from R700 - R1000 per person. Find more information here: https://knysnacycle.co.za/
